“100% Naija” is a show on Channel O, the (South African) satellite based music channel, M-Net (which dominates satellite TV on the continent). The show basically consists of interviews with Nigerian-based musicians. Check the video archive for interviews with artists like P Square, Femi Kuti, Charly Boy, Pretty and Sir Victor Uwaifo. Nice.

The video, above, is the most recent episode featuring Lagos rapper, GI Joe.

While making the documentary, “African Underground: Democracy in Dakar,” which “… explores the transformative role of hip-hop on politics in Senegal, West Africa during the February 2007 presidential election campaign,” the filmmakers posted segments on the internet. That’s the first web episode above.
